At this moment there are two horses in my life: Ra'ad and Karachi

The journey I am on with horses has humbled me and directed me to continue to learn and discover as I keep striving to be the best person I can be. For them and for myself. The horses in my care have been in livery and at home and I know the challenges and the advantages of both. We transitioned to barefoot many years ago, worked with Natural Horsemanship, followed Straightness Training and finally ended up in the Academic Art of Riding or Classical dressage. Through sickness and health and from an active life to retirement. It is all part of the journey and I am grateful for every lesson learnt and ahead.

I have competed in dressage and show jumping, rode horses in deserts, on beaches, through forests and high mountains. I have trekked and camped on horseback and am thankful for every adventure horses have given me.

Every horse is different just like every human. We all change with time and nothing remains the same. I do not believe in rigid programmes or a ‘one-size-fits-all’ approach for anything in life. I use a tailored and boutique-style concept for my clients, colleagues and friends, horses, myself and all living beings. It is about filling your toolbox with experiences and knowledge so that when a situation arises, you can recognise it, check your toolbox and decide what your best approach is.

The highlights of my professional career are closely linked to the different places where I have lived. Working with people from all walks of life in different cultural settings has been a true gift. I appreciate the joy of working in a team and achieving goals together; seeing the growth and development of people and noticing how they flourish and shine, and discovering the magic that can happen when you are truly present for others and when they feel heard.

I am the guardian of Ra'ad and Karachi
