Echo of Pegasus
a spiritual approach to life with horses

Hi, I am Siets and my wish is to personally inspire & guide you, and equestrians around the world, to discover your true path and potential through self-care, wellness, understanding and trust.

I aim to create a space for human & horse possibilities to come together: holistically and honestly, recognising the different energy, strengths and limitations that we all have. Our horses and ourselves.

I guide you in seeing things more clearly so you can find your way to create a more aligned partnership with your horse. Founded on love, understanding, honest expectations and achievable goals, allowing for steady growth and synchronicity and an ever-evolving bond that brings joy and happiness.

The power of stories

Humans have shared their stories in a social and cultural setting for as long as we have been around. Stories were used for entertainment, education and cultural preservation and often carried moral values to be used as guidance for others. The storytellers took on the role of healers, guides, teachers, leaders and secret keepers.

I am sharing my stories with you, stories of my experiences with horses and stories of being human in this all-encompassing, turbulent, surprising and chaotic world. The ups and the downs, the beautiful and the difficult, the dreams and the challenges. As the law of polarity tells us, everything is dual, everything has a pair of opposites that are identical in nature but different in degree.

I feel that our modern-day storytelling on social media has taken the human factor out of this ancient practice. Even though the stories are created by us, there is a lack of connection between us. Imagine sitting around a beautifully laid dining table listening to each other's stories while enjoying some good food and maybe a glass of wine. That is what I would like to bring to you. A safe place of connection, support and guidance and maybe a little secret here and there.

10-week guidance programme

Are you looking for clarity and focus, inspiration and empowerment; truth and a clear life path; healthy choices for you and your horse; self-love and horse-love; confidence and creativity and achievable goals and dreams?

I am offering a 10-week guidance programme to begin the new year confident, clear and capable. We start Saturday 11 January 2025 and there is a a maximum of 10 participants.

During these 10 weeks, we will discover together what lessons are out there for us as a collective to be discovered and what individual lessons are awaiting each of us. Can we be the change we want to see? For ourselves, our horses and the wider community?

Through storytelling and practical exercises, we will dive deep into who we are and who our horses are and how we can co-create a partnership and a bond that reflects safety, connection, peace, freedom and joy.

Every week will have a theme which we will explore in the group, in a safe and like-minded space. Through sharing stories and reflecting on them, we will unveil the journey we are on and learn from each other.

Each week, I will share practical exercises, tips and tricks to uncover more about yourself, your horse and the journey you are on together. There is optional homework for those who want to deep-dive further into each topic.

Each participant will have the option to book two private 1-1 sessions with Siets (45 minutes each). One at the beginning of the programme to explore who you are; who your horse is and what it is you are looking for and one at the end of the 10 weeks to set goals and plan the next steps.

The programme is offered in a non-social media space. It is simple and easy, accessible for anyone.

From interior design to product showcases for your business, we can be your trusted partner in everything decor. We love projects where we can take the reigns and deliver something out ordinary – will you dare us to?

The magical horse
Legends, fairytales, myths & fables

The horse holds a revered place in myths, fairytales, legends and fables across the world and in different cultures. Often symbolising powerful qualities and the embodiment of multifaceted roles. In many ancient mythologies, horses are celestial beings, companions to gods, and conveyors of divine messages. In Greek mythology, Pegasus, the winged horse, is a symbol of power, movement, courage, wisdom and inspiration.

Horses appear as heroic companions, aiding legendary figures in quests and battles. The Norse mythology features Sleipnir, Odin's eight-legged steed, showcasing unparalleled speed and strength. In Celtic folklore, the kelpie is a water spirit that transforms into a horse, captivating and sometimes endangering those who encounter it.

Horses represent freedom, nobility, and loyalty. In Chinese folklore, the horse is a symbol of perseverance and success, often associated with tales of overcoming

Inspired by the beautiful story of Pegasus and Bellorophon, I am collecting mythical horse stories and rewrite them to be shared here. These stories are meant to inspire you, bring you wisdom and give you strength. And ultimately, I wish for these stories to pay tribute to the horse, in all its shapes, forms, colours and ways of being. This beautiful, magical and loyal animal has been alongside us and remains there. Shoulder to shoulder, heart to heart, soul to soul.

There will be times when standing alone feels too hard, too scary, and we’ll doubt our ability to make our way through the uncertainty. Someone, somewhere, will say, ‘Don’t do it. You don’t have what it takes to survive the wilderness.’ This is when you reach deep into your wild heart and remind yourself, ‘I am the wilderness. - Brene Brown
